Atwoli Speaks, Proposes Tactic Ruto Should Deploy to Neutralize Raila Ahead of Monday Protests

Now that the country is few hours from witnessing a showdown pitting president Ruto and Raila Odinga, there has emerged three groups of Kenyans; those supporting Raila’s call for protests, those who wants Ruto to take the former premiere head on and the last group wants the two titans to have an around table meeting to iron out their indifferences.

Of those who have joined the last group is the Central Organization for Trade Unions (COTU) secretary-general Francis Atwoli. Through his deputy, the veteran trade unionist called Jakom and the man from Sugoi to save the country from unnecessary gimmicks by exploring and exploiting other options to settle their scores.Atwoli further called workers to ignore calls earlier made by Azimio leader who illegally declared Monday, March 20 a public holiday. COTU boss directed members to stick to work plan unless advised otherwise.Earlier on, minority leader Opiyo Wandayi echoed Raila’s sentiments telling COTU to release workers on Monday to partake their democratic rights by joining other Kenyans to rally against the doyen.
