Graham Potter Insists His Squad Are ‘excited’ To Try & Knockout The Reigning Champions Real Madrid.
Chelsea have been drawn with Real Madrid in huge Champions League competition this season in the last-8 round. Meanwhile a well playing Chelsea side are set to play Everton this weekend in a Premier League encounter.
The blues are struggling in the Premier League campaign with a tenth position in the table. And qualification for next season in the Champions League football looking difficult to achieve with less than 12 matches remaining. Graham made comments with Los Blancos looking likely to be a challenging side in next tough round.
Smiling at the reference to his previous quip, Potter said: “Well, I said we’d try and ‘blank’ win the Champions League, and I’m sure that’s the same for the other seven clubs as well.
And all the other clubs would also say you could lose in the quarter-final, because that’s the nature of the Champions League. We’ll focus on Real Madrid when we get there, but at the moment it’s Everton.”according to Daily Mail report.
