Recently, there has been a war of words between Embakasi East member of parliament Babu Owino and his Mumias East counterpart Peter Kalerwa Salasya, the latter brew up the war of words after he alleged that Babu Owino had bribed Politrack so that they can rank him highly.

Omosh Jakababa while speaking in the regular Bunge La Mwananchi sessions has commented the war of words between the two parliamentarians. Jakababa says that Peter Salasya is a one term member of parliament and when he heard Salasya say he can even physically beat Babu Owino he was left laughing, he says that Babu Owino goes to the training on a daily basis and that Salasya cannot match his physical fitness.

Jakababa says that they do respect Salasya as a member of parliament but his claim that the Luhya community have got his ear is laughable, he says that Babu Owino will be running for the Nairobi governor seat and if really Salasya has a say on the Luhyas, he should try to give them a direction. Jakababa says that the Luhya in Nairobi are enlightened and they will not follow Peter Salasya’s direction.
