President Ruto appoints Jumwa, Kahindi to key board positions

President William Ruto has announced leadership changes at two key state corporations by appointing new non-executive chairpersons for the Kenya Roads Board and the Kenya Fishing Industries Corporation.

In a Gazette Notice dated 17th January 2025, Aisha Jumwa Katana has been named the non-executive Chairperson of the Kenya Roads Board, for a period of three years.

Following the development, the appointment of Ahmed Kolosh Mohamed has been revoked.

Similarly, Kadhua Jimmy Kahindi was appointed non-executive Chairperson of the Board of the Kenya Fishing Industries Corporation.

Both appointments will take effect from the 17th January, 2025.
