NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 10 – The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has commenced its grassroots elections across 20 counties, including Nyeri, Uasin Gishu, Tharaka Nithi, and Embu.
The elections are aimed at electing ward- and constituency-level party officials to strengthen UDA’s organisational structures ahead of upcoming political engagements.
Party officials say the exercise is being conducted in a phased and coordinated manner to ensure transparency and inclusivity.
Voting is expected to continue over the coming days, with UDA deploying officials and observers across the counties to oversee the process.
Party leaders have urged members to participate actively while maintaining peace and order.
