Kirinyaga Senator Kamau Murango Tops Infotrak Approval Rankings with 69pc

NAIROBI, Kenya Jul 1 – Kirinyaga Senator Kamau Murango has emerged as the top-performing senator in a new Infotrak Research and Consulting survey after attaining a 69 percent approval rating.

The survey ranked Murango ahead of Nyandarua Senator John Methu, who posted a 68 percent approval score, while Murang’a Senator Hon. Joel Nyutu came third with 65 percent.

Nandi Senator Samson Cherarkey ranked fourth with a 64 percent approval rating, closely followed by Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot at 63 percent.

The Infotrak rankings further placed Baringo Senator Hon. Vincent Kiprono, Kisii Senator Hon. Richard Onyonka and Makueni Senator Hon. Dan Maanzo at 62 percent each.

Nairobi Senator Hon. Edwin Sifuna and Samburu Senator Hon. Steve Lelegwe each recorded 61 percent approval ratings.

Meanwhile, Mandera Senator Hon. Ali Roba, Kitui Senator Hon. Enoch Wambua, West Pokot Senator Hon. Julius Murgor, Bomet Senator Hon. Hillary Sigei and Uasin Gishu Senator Hon. Jackson Mandago all scored 60 percent in the survey.
