The Indomitable Lions are a force to be reckoned with in African football, winning the AFCON a stunning five times (1984, 1988, 2000, 2002, 2017), and to top it all off, the nation is the first and, as of 2022, the only African team to defeat Brazil in tournament play.<\/p>\n
But even so, Zimbabwe is on the up right now and will not be a walk in the park to defeat. The Warriors are currently on a high following the confirmation that they will be taking part in the next AFCON.<\/p>\n

Tuesday also brings a potentially mouthwatering clash between Tanzania and Guinea in Group H at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium in Dar es Salaam as both sides seek to grab the remaining ticket to the tournament.<\/p>\n

The Syli Nationale of Guinea will qualify with any result other than a defeat but will be extra vigilant against Tanzania, who beat them 2-1 in the 1st leg.<\/p>\n

The Black Mambas of Mozambique are away to Guinea Bissau with any result apart from a 2-0 or bigger defeat securing their qualification.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, host Bissau will need a 2-0 win to secure their slot for the Morocco finals.<\/p>\n
Group C is wide open, with two teams, Botswana and Mauritania, competing for the single available ticket.<\/p>\n
In order to qualify for the finals, Mauritania, who will be hosting the Blue Sharks of Cape Verde, must defeat their guest and hope that their opponents, Botswana, lose to Egypt.<\/p>\n
Botswana must win or draw against record AFCON champions Egypt to lock out their rivals for the single slot available.<\/p>\n
Cape Verde is out of contention after losing both matches against Botswana.<\/p>\n
