During the operation, the Kenya Navy Ship (KNS) <em>SHUJAA<\/em> was deployed, marking a significant step in Kenya\u2019s commitment to enhancing regional maritime security.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.capitalfm.co.ke\/news\/files\/2024\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2024-12-21-at-11.59.01-1.jpeg\"><\/a>Commodore Asim Sohail Malik of Pakistan\u2019s CTF 150 visits Kenya Navy Headquarters in Mtongwe, spotlighting Kenya\u2019s pivotal role in maritime security. \/December 2024<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKenya\u2019s participation in such high-profile operations reflects its pivotal role in securing the region\u2019s waters against smuggling, narcotics trafficking, and other illicit activities,\u201d said a Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) statement.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Expanding Kenya\u2019s Maritime Contributions<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The meeting also explored avenues for the Kenya Navy to expand its involvement in CMF operations.
