Deputy Chief Registrar Paul Ndemo Maina has been appointed as the new spokesperson for the Judiciary.<\/p>\n
In an announcement on its social media account on Thursday, Judiciary said his appointment seeks to enhance engagement with the public as well as transparency.<\/p>\n
It said Ndemo\u2019s appointment underscores the Judiciary\u2019s commitment to effective communication and stakeholder engagement by ensuring the public remains informed about judicial services and initiatives.<\/p>\n

As the Judiciary Spokesperson, he will serve as the primary point of contact for disseminating official information, clarifying matters related to judicial processes, and addressing public inquiries.<\/p>\n
The appointment further seeks to strengthen public engagement and enhance transparency within the Judiciary.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith his extensive experience in the justice sector and a deep understanding of Judiciary operations, Hon. Ndemo is well-positioned to bridge the gap between the institution and its stakeholders, ensuring that the Judiciary remains responsive to the public it serves\u201d it added.<\/p>\n
Ndemo joined the Judiciary in August 2018 as the Deputy Chief Registrar. Prior to this, he served at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions in the period between 2006 \u2013 2018, where he rose to the position of Senior Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions.<\/p>\n
He holds a Master of Arts degree in International Studies and a Bachelor of Laws degree, both from the University of Nairobi.<\/p>\n
Additionally, he has a Certificate in Strategic and Security Studies from the National Defence College and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law.<\/p>\n
