{"id":123056,"date":"2025-10-14T10:07:40","date_gmt":"2025-10-14T10:07:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chezaspin.com\/blog\/index.php\/2025\/10\/14\/cdf-kahariri-warns-against-recruitment-fraud\/"},"modified":"2025-10-14T10:07:40","modified_gmt":"2025-10-14T10:07:40","slug":"cdf-kahariri-warns-against-recruitment-fraud","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chezaspin.com\/blog\/cdf-kahariri-warns-against-recruitment-fraud\/","title":{"rendered":"CDF Kahariri warns against recruitment fraud"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ELDORET, Kenya Oct 14 \u2013 Chief of the Defence Forces (CDF), General Charles Kahariri, has issued a stern warning to all Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) personnel against engaging in fraudulent recruitment activities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He cautioned that any soldier found aiding or participating in schemes that defraud members of the public in the guise of offering recruitment opportunities will be dismissed immediately and without benefits.<\/p>\n<p>General Kahariri reminded the troops that KDF recruitment is free, transparent, and strictly conducted in accordance with the law, emphasizing that integrity and discipline remain the cornerstone of military service.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTransparency in this year\u2019s recruitment will enhance public trust and confidence in the Kenya Defence Forces. A fair, credible, and merit-based process will ensure that only the most qualified and dependable young men and women join our ranks,\u201d said General Kahariri.<\/p>\n<p>He further cautioned the public to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious individuals claiming to offer recruitment slots for a fee.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.capitalfm.co.ke\/news\/files\/2025\/10\/Chief-of-the-Defence-Forces-General-Charles-Kahariri-lays-wreath-during-KDF-Day-2025.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The CDF also underscored the importance of Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) as a bridge between the military and civilians, noting that KDF continues to support communities through health, water, and education projects. <\/p>\n<p>Such initiatives, he said, reflect the Forces\u2019 commitment to national development and strengthening civil-military relations.<\/p>\n<p>He made these remarks during his tour to assess the readiness for this year\u2019s KDF Day celebrations in Moi Baracks,Eldoret.<\/p>\n<p>This celebration honour Kenya\u2019s fallen heroes and celebrate the Forces\u2019 contribution to peace, security, and community development.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ELDORET, Kenya Oct 14 \u2013 Chief of the Defence Forces (CDF), General Charles Kahariri, has issued a stern warning to all Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) personnel against engaging in fraudulent recruitment activities.
