Your Excellency, as you continue to lead us in this reflection, we continue to remember the many people who have sacrificed their time, lives and comfort for our freedom,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve gathered today to remember, reflect and consider where our country has come from. As we continue to mourn the departure of Raila Odinga, we remember those who have gone before us for selflessly defending our sovereignty.
