Among those was Shakira Wafula, who gained fame from the June 2024 protests, who said, \u201cyou are who you think you are\u201d after attending the mixtape launch.<\/p>\n<p>Asige has previously described her \u2018Blinding Allure\u2019 series as \u201cmore than just a mixtape\u201d but \u201c a melodic journey that serves as an homage to Kenya\u2019s diverse youth,\u201d underscoring her intention to create music that resonates deeply with lived experience.
