And I will be at DCI Headquarters at 9.30am tomorrow to report the Nation Media Group and the reporter of fraud and forgery,\u201d Kuria stated.<\/p>\n<p>The Cabinet Secretary however reaffirmed he will stand with Maribe despite the controversies and unjustified bullying that surround her ever since he was acquitted in the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cContrary to reports by the Nation, I have never been interviewed by the media House nor made any comment nor announcement about Jacque Maribe. I have challenged CEO Stephen Gitagama to provide evidence from one Mwangi Muiruri who wrote the article,\u201d Kuria stated.<\/p>\n<p>PSC denied appointing Maribe as the head of communications at the Public Service Ministry.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement released Thursday, PSC Chairperson Anthony Muchiri indicated that \u201cno such appointment has been made nor has a request to employ her been received by the board.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor the record, the said position will be filled through a competitive recruitment process should a vacancy arise,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Maribe, who had been charged alongside her former fianc\u00e9 Joseph Irungu, alias Jowie, was acquitted of the murder of the businesswoman who was killed at her apartment in Nairobi\u2019s Kilimani area in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Justice Grace Nzioka ruled that there was insufficient evidence linking Maribe to the murder, emphasizing that the prosecution had failed to provide substantial proof of her involvement in the crime.<\/p>\n<p>While acknowledging Maribe\u2019s culpability for providing false information to the police during the murder probe, Nzioka emphasized that she was not appropriately charged before the court.<\/p>\n<p>Maribe\u2019s ex-fianc\u00e9, Jowie, was found guilty of Monica\u2019s murder and was handed the death sentence on March 13.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 15 \u2013 Public Service, Performance and Delivery Management Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has threatened to sue the Nation Media Group over a forgery allegation over Jacque Maribe\u2019s appointment fiasco.
