History makers Bodo Glimt qualified for the maiden round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League after knocking out Italian giants Inter Milan 2-1, on Tuesday at the Giuseppe Meazza.<\/p>\n
Glimt, who had won 3-1 in the first leg, sealed their ticket following a 5-2 aggregate win over Milan.<\/p>\n
The Norwegian side will face either Sporting Lisbon of Portugal or a rematch against Manchester City in the round of 16 knockout phase.<\/p>\n
The tiny, tiny team has made history this season, also beating Manchester City and Atletico Madrid in the group phase of the Champions League.<\/p>\n
Other teams which sailed into the round of 16 include Bayer Leverkusen, who eliminated Greek champions Olympiakos; Atletico Madrid, who edged out Belgian side Club Brugge; and Newcastle United, who ran riot 9-2 against Qarabag from Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n
