{"id":135171,"date":"2026-03-23T16:03:42","date_gmt":"2026-03-23T16:03:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chezaspin.com\/blog\/cs-murkomen-condemns-culture-of-staged-abductions\/"},"modified":"2026-03-23T16:03:42","modified_gmt":"2026-03-23T16:03:42","slug":"cs-murkomen-condemns-culture-of-staged-abductions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chezaspin.com\/blog\/cs-murkomen-condemns-culture-of-staged-abductions\/","title":{"rendered":"CS Murkomen condemns culture of staged abductions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Interior and National Administration Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has hit out at former Cabinet Secretary Raphael Tuju, accusing him of orchestrating a self-abduction and warning that such acts must be dealt with decisively.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese repetitive theatrics must come to an end,\u201d he warned.<\/p>\n<p>The CS was speaking in Kositei, Tiaty, during the burial ceremony of Bill Lorupe Ballot Kassait, the son of William Kamket and Data Commissioner Immaculate Kassait.<\/p>\n<p>Murkomen warned that false abduction cases undermine national security and mislead the public, adding that the government will take firm action against anyone found culpable.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSomeone cannot incite the public and cause unrest after abducting themselves,\u201d the CS warned.<\/p>\n<p>The CS called on the Judiciary to be vigilant when handling cases of staged abductions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to ask the Judiciary to remain vigilant.
