{"id":13700,"date":"2024-03-16T11:02:59","date_gmt":"2024-03-16T11:02:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chezaspin.com\/blog\/index.php\/2024\/03\/16\/president-ruto-to-assent-to-affordable-housing-bill-monday\/"},"modified":"2024-03-16T11:02:59","modified_gmt":"2024-03-16T11:02:59","slug":"president-ruto-to-assent-to-affordable-housing-bill-monday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chezaspin.com\/blog\/president-ruto-to-assent-to-affordable-housing-bill-monday\/","title":{"rendered":"President Ruto to assent to Affordable Housing Bill Monday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 16 \u2013 President Willian Ruto says that he is going to assent to the Affordable Housing Bill Monday after parliament passed the legislation to anchor the affordable housing program.<br \/><\/strong><br \/>Speaking in Chepalungu, Bomet, the president stated that the bill now aligns with court-mandated requirements, addressing concerns that previously halted its implementation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn Monday I\u2019m going to sign a new law and we have agreed with the court on the housing matter,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The president has remained firm on his optimistic view of the housing project asserting that it will serve as a major economic breakthrough key, especially in job creation for the youths for the youths and the general well-being of the citizens.<\/p>\n<p>The president has further stated that the project is going to create space to see the maximum production of food and the manufacturing sector that will in turn make Kenya a food and economic powerhouse.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to make sure that we do that which is going to change our country.
