President William Ruto, on Saturday, continued his two-day development tour in Murang\u2019a County, emphasising his government\u2019s commitment to transforming the country.<\/p>\n
Speaking at the launch of Ciumbu Modern Market, Maragua, Muranga County, President Ruto noted that the government will continue constructing modern markets across the country to provide decent working conditions.<\/p>\n
Upon completion, it will accommodate more than 200 traders.<\/p>\n
In Murang\u2019a, he said 25 modern markets were under construction at a cost of Ksh 2.5 billion.<\/p>\n
\u201cNationally, 600 markets are underway, fulfilling our commitment to provide Mama Mboga and other traders with decent places of work\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n
