It also aligns with UN Security Council Resolution 2797 (2025). <\/p>\n<p>Honduras, which first recognized the SADR in 1989 and reconfirmed it in 2022, notified Guterres directly of the suspension.<\/p>\n<p>In a parallel development, Austria voiced strong support for Resolution 2797 during a meeting in Vienna between Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger and Bourita, who was on a working visit.
