KITUI, Kenya, July 12 \u2013 Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua has likened President William Ruto to football superstars Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbapp\u00e9, praising the Head of State\u2019s leadership and development agenda during his tour of Kitui County.<\/p>\n
Speaking during the President\u2019s visit to the county, Mutua described Ruto as both \u201cthe Messi of Kenya\u201d and \u201cthe Mbapp\u00e9 of Kenya\u201d, saying his leadership style and development record set him apart from his political rivals.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou are the Messi of Kenya, you are the Mbapp\u00e9 of Kenya,\u201d Mutua told the President during the event, drawing cheers from supporters in attendance.<\/p>\n
The remarks came as President Ruto continued his development tour of the Ukambani region, where he inspected and launched a series of infrastructure and economic empowerment projects.<\/p>\n
