BEIJING, China, Mar 23 \u2014 More than 60 people have been killed in Friday\u2019s terrorist attack in Moscow\u2019s Crocus City Hall, according to the Investigative Committee of Russia.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The attack claimed by the Islamic State\u00a0was condemned by leaders from around the world.<\/p>\n

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres<\/strong><\/p>\n

Antonio Guterres strongly condemned Friday\u2019s terrorist attack in Russia, said his deputy spokesman.<\/p>\n

The secretary-general condemns \u201cin the strongest possible terms\u201d the terrorist attack at a concert hall outside Moscow, said Farhan Haq, the deputy spokesman, in a statement.<\/p>\n

The secretary-general conveys his deep condolences to the bereaved families and the people and the government of Russia, and wishes those injured a speedy recovery, said the statement.<\/p>\n

French President Emmanuel Macron<\/strong><\/p>\n

Emmanuel Macron \u201cstrongly condemns the terrorist attack claimed by the Islamic State\u201d, according to the Elysee Palace.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrance expresses its solidarity with the victims, their loved ones and all the Russian people,\u201d the presidential office said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe images from Moscow tonight are horrifying. Our thoughts go to the victims and to those injured as well as to the Russian people. All effort has to be made to determine the causes of these heinous acts,\u201d the French Foreign Ministry said on Friday on X, formerly Twitter.<\/p>\n

Pakistani Foreign Ministry<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pakistan on Friday condemned the \u201chorrendous\u201d attack carried out at a concert hall in Moscow, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe express our deepest sympathies with the families of the victims,\u201d the ministry said in a late-night statement.<\/p>\n

Afghan caretaker government<\/strong><\/p>\n

The government has described the recent attack on a concert hall in the Russian capital Moscow as a cowardly terrorist attack and strongly condemned it, foreign ministry spokesman Abdul Qahar Balkhi said Saturday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan condemns in the strongest terms the recent terrorist attack in Moscow, Russia, claimed by Deash, and considers it a blatant violation of all human standards,\u201d Balkhi said in a statement posted on his X account.<\/p>\n
