Kenya have revived push for the one man, one vote campaign as the Commission on Revenue Allocation now kick-starts views collection on the 4th\u00a0revenue sharing formula.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Speaking at a round-table meeting with CRA commissioners at Nairobi\u2019s Movenpick hotel, the Governors insisted on a formula that speaks to the region\u2019s prowess for production, insisting the three earlier formulas have greatly been designed to take away from the region.<\/p>\n<p>Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga calling on the CRA to allocate resources as per a region\u2019s contribution to the national cake as opposed to equal treatment at the table.<\/p>\n<p>Consequently, the chairman of the Central Region Economic Bloc (CEREB) has urged for the adoption of a baseline shareable revenue amount that would largely go into operations of a county before any other parameter is used.<\/p>\n<p>On its part, the CRA now says it will seek common views from the different economic blocs with the aim of including their views in the final report that would form the 4th\u00a0generation revenue sharing formula.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The post <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kbc.co.ke\/mt-kenya-governors-revive-one-man-one-shilling-debate\/\">Mt.
