In a heartfelt message, the First Lady described mothers as the backbone of families, the pillars of communities and the embodiment of love and strength.<\/p>\n
\u201cHappy Mother\u2019s Day to all the amazing mums in Kenya and around the world!\u201d said Rachel as she acknowledged the sacrifices and role mothers play in shaping lives.<\/p>\n
\u201cMay your day be filled with joy, appreciation and countless blessings. To every mother, grandmother, aunt and mother figure, thank you for all that you do,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, in his message to mothers said, \u00a0\u201cA mother is the Special Bond that holds the family and our nation together. We are because of our mothers,\u201d said Gachagua.<\/p>\n
Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki hailed mothers as selfless beings who put their children\u2019s interests first.<\/p>\n

Investments, Trade and Industry Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano likened mothers to unique flowers, beautiful yet resilient.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo all mothers, you\u2019re unique like flowers, beautiful, resilient and strong! Special dedication to that one mother who lost a child during the recent floods, may this day bring peace that surpasses human understanding,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n
