The Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communications, and the Digital Economy, Eliud has appointed Agnes Kalekye Nguna as the Managing Director\/Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC).<\/p>\n
The appointment of Kalekye which is effective immediately, will run for a period of three years.<\/p>\n
Prior to her appointment, Nguna was Chief Operating Officer at The Star Publications and also Chair of the Media Owners Association.<\/p>\n
The official announcement was made by the Cabinet Secretary through the Chairman of the Board of the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation.<\/p>\n
