Our government remains steadfast,\u201d stated Gachagua, addressing concerns raised after his absence during the President\u2019s return from the US.<\/p>\n<p>Gachagua had last week retreated to Mt Kenya for \u2018prayers and meditation\u2019 and only resurfaced to see off the President for the US state visit.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, Gachagua emphasized the importance of national unity, urging all Kenyans to embrace diversity and peaceful coexistence.<\/p>\n<p>Gachagua commended President Ruto\u2019s efforts in fostering national unity, calling on leaders to follow suit.<\/p>\n<p>These statements follow Gachagua\u2019s criticism in Eldoret on Saturday, where he accused Rift Valley leaders allied with President Ruto of meddling in Mt.
