Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) have arrested three suspects in Nairobi\u2019s New Donholm area with suspected cocaine worth Ksh27.5 million.<\/p>\n
According to the suspects\u2019 suitcases had a total of 298 cocaine pellets weighing 6.8kg concealed in teddy bears.<\/p>\n
\u201cActing on intelligence, ANU and OSU crime busters intercepted Sharon Debra Achieng\u2019 (25), Leon Ochieng\u2019 (28), and Ronald Onyango (25) yesterday with a black suitcase containing clothes, toiletries, and three teddy bears,\u201d said the DCI in a post on X.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn ripping the teddy bears open 298 pellets of the nose candy weighing about 6.8kg estimated at Sh27.5 million in street value were discovered.\u201d<\/p>\n
Air tickets for various destinations in the female suspect\u2019s name and Ksh37,000 in cash were also recovered.<\/p>\n\n
