{"id":47060,"date":"2024-05-31T08:03:22","date_gmt":"2024-05-31T08:03:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chezaspin.com\/blog\/index.php\/2024\/05\/31\/kidero-tells-off-sakaja-over-attacks-on-dp-gachagua\/"},"modified":"2024-05-31T08:03:22","modified_gmt":"2024-05-31T08:03:22","slug":"kidero-tells-off-sakaja-over-attacks-on-dp-gachagua","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chezaspin.com\/blog\/kidero-tells-off-sakaja-over-attacks-on-dp-gachagua\/","title":{"rendered":"Kidero tells off Sakaja over attacks on DP Gachagua"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>KISUMU, Kenya, May 31 \u2013 Former Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero has told off Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja against attacks on the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kidero says Sakaja must concentrate in restoring order in Nairobi city which he says is filthy instead of politicking.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe must learn to respect leaders in office, it\u2019s even biblical,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that succession politics should not cloud the minds of elected leaders to a point they fail to discharge their duties to the electorates.<\/p>\n<p>Kidero says it\u2019s disheartening to hear leaders referring to senior UDA party leaders with very demeaning remarks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBiblically, if you\u2019re looking down upon leaders, you\u2019re disobeying God,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Kidero spoke at Ndiru on Friday in Rangwe Constituency during the 3rd phase grassroots elections of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party.<\/p>\n<p>Kidero says when the country elected President William Ruto in 2022, it was a joint ticket with the Deputy President.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat joint ticket is the Presidency, you can\u2019t purport to attack the DP, that means you\u2019re also disrespecting the President,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The Former Governor cast his vote and lauded the electronic voting.<\/p>\n<p>He announced that UDA members in Homa Bay County stands at 200,000 while promising more to join the party.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur people have been in the bondage of captivity of psychological and ideological slavery and cultism, something they have kicked away by joining UDA party,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>UDA party is conducting elections in the 8 constituencies across the county.<\/p>\n<p>20 delegates elected in the second phase of the elections at the ward level are electing Constituency officials.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KISUMU, Kenya, May 31 \u2013 Former Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero has told off Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja against attacks on the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
