He said leaders should desist from sowing seeds of discord among Kenyans for their selfish political interests.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201c<\/strong>We will work with Kenyans who mean well and who have good intentions. Our goal is to bring people together not to divide them,\u201d he said<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s pray for those who perpetrate ethnicity in their thoughts to move away from it. We are all Kenyans first. Our biggest problem is ethnicity and we should do everything to overcome it,\u201d added Kibet who was in Kangundo, Machakos County for a church service.<\/p>\n<p>Kibet who was in company of more than 15 MPs led by Majority leader in the National Assembly Kimani Ichung\u2019wah said he was pleased that a section of leaders is speaking against balkanization.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am happy that MPs have been discussing this issue of negative ethnicity openly. This is the best way to end it. Kenyans must live together as one,\u201d he said<\/p>\n<p>While lauding Kibet, Ichungw\u2019ah said Kenya cannot take the ethnic path given its history in the country. He argued that some leaders were hell-bent on taking the country back to the old days of tribalism.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will not allow anyone to engage in the politics of hate and division.
