Lloyd Khavuchi sealed the victory with a third goal, 9 minutes from the full-time whistle.<\/p>\n
The win ensured the Kisii-based team needed just a point in their final match away to Murang\u2019a Seal this Sunday to avoid a relegation play-off.<\/p>\n
Shabana will also survive with a loss or a draw against Muranga should Sofapaka, who are currently 16th, fail to win against Nzoia Sugar in their final match on Sunday.<\/p>\n
In another round of 33 fixtures played on Sunday, 21-time Champions Gor Mahia lost 4-2 against Talanta FC, registering their third loss of the season.<\/p>\n
The win ensured Talanta\u2019s survival, placing him 14th on the table after amassing 37 points, two ahead of Shabana, while Sofapaka is 16th with 33 points.<\/p>\n
