A group of church leaders Friday gathered at the home of Molo MP, Kuria Kimani, for a cleansing exercise following the Tuesday vandalism of his residence during the anti-Finance Bill 2024 demonstrations.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The protests, sparked by widespread discontent with the passage of the bill, saw hundreds of youth take to the streets in various parts of the country to oppose it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In Molo, the demonstrations took a destructive turn, leading to the vandalism of MP Kimani\u2019s home.<\/span><\/p>\n Irate demonstrators breached the perimeter wall surrounding the MP\u2019s house, burnt and destroyed cars even as others looted valuables.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Some of those who invaded the home walked away with animals too.
