The spouse of the Deputy President, Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, drew lessons from the life of Bishop Allan Kiuna, which she shared during the memorial<\/strong> service of the Overseer and Founder of Jubilee Christian Church in Karen on Monday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speaking to thousands who had gathered at the Faith Evangelistic Ministries grounds, and others following the service online from across the world, Pastor Dorcas urged the church never to be ashamed of professing her faith.<\/p>\n

\u201cNever be intimidated and deny your faith. Even when the church is under attack, do not be ashamed of the Gospel. Faith is personal,\u201d she emphasized.<\/p>\n

She added that Bishop Kiuna was steadfast in his faith to the very end despite him being unwell. \u201cBishop came to preach even when he was unwell. The illness could not hold him down, and he preached passionately,\u201d said Pastor Dorcas.<\/p>\n

She emphasized that there was fear expressed in the scriptures that one day, faith would no longer be on the earth (Luke 18:8), but she encouraged the church that this should not be so in our days.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have all witnessed a man of faith (Bishop Allan) through the wife, his children, the many sons he has raised, and through all of us. Let us not drop the baton,\u201d said Pastor Dorcas.<\/p>\n

Present during the memorial service were First Lady Rachel Ruto, Ev. Teresia Wairimu, Bishop JB Masinde, Archbishop Arthur Kitonga and the wife, Archbishop Gerry Kibarabara, Bishop William Tuimising, Pastor James Nganga, and Singer Kambua Mathu, among many other clergy and ministers.<\/p>\n

The First Lady deeply condoled with the family.<\/p>\n

Rev Kathy Kiuna and her family of daughters, sons, sons-in-law, grandchildren, extended family, and Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) Family were encouraged by many who spoke of the great life that Bishop Allan lived.<\/p>\n

Bishop Allan joined the ministry when he was 19 years, and gave his life to the Lord.<\/p>\n

Ev. Wairimu said that Bishop Allan was drunk with alcohol at that instance but she saw in him \u201ca nation shaker and a history maker\u201d and indeed he has left behind a \u201ca movement of JCC\u201d.<\/p>\n

Rev Kathy in her emotional speech asked all to pray for her, and the family, saying \u201cuphold me and my children in prayer, and help us walk this journey. It is a rough road. It is tough. Thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Former Turkana Governor, and the President\u2019s Deputy Chief of Staff, Josphat Nanok delivered and read President William Ruto\u2019s speech.<\/p>\n

Also present were Nominated Senator Veronicah Maina, Nominated MP Sabina Chege, and other leaders from across Africa and the world.<\/p>\n
