Industry players in the fintech world are championing the crucial role of user inclusion in driving innovation and accessibility within the fintech industry.<\/p>\n
With a focus on empowering users from diverse backgrounds, Association of Fintechs in Kenya, AFIK\u00a0 chair Ali Hussein Kassim says Kenya is committed to fostering a more inclusive financial ecosystem with calls for collaboration to shape the future of finance in the country and the African continent.<\/p>\n
Kassim was speaking during the launch of the Africa Fintech festival which Kenya will host from 12th to 15th June this year.<\/p>\n
\u201cFintech regulation, we are going to talk about access to markets, how we empower our fintechs through impactful funding and we are expecting 300 organisations,\u201d said Kassim.<\/p>\n
He emphasised on the need for Fintechs in Kenya to collaborate and accelerate advancements in financial technology.\u00a0 Industry leaders who will feature in the Fintech festival will have an opportunity to exchange ideas and collaborate on shaping the future of finance in Africa.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere has to be some policy intervention to ensure that more people get into the digital ecosystem without hurting players who have rankly earned their market share in the ecosystem,\u201d said Kassim.<\/p>\n
Kenya aims to bridge the gap between technology and financial inclusion, particularly in underserved communities.<\/p>\n
