We saw her being impeached three months after her election even without forming a government of formulating a budget,\u201d Kahiga stated on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The Nyeri Governor urged President William Ruto to act swifty and \u201ccontain\u201d the political interfearance in county affairs.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.capitalfm.co.ke\/news\/2024\/08\/court-suspends-mwangazas-impeachment-pending-suit-against-proceedings\/\">Court suspends Mwangaza\u2019s impeachment in urgent suit<\/a>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cAt times we feel frustrated as counties by national government. Why not fully devolve all functions?\u201d he posed citing the recent recruitment of agrieprenuers by the national government to discharge a divolved function assigned ti agricutural extension officers.<\/p>\n<p>Kagiha further cited the downward review of the County Shareable Revenue allocation from Sh480 billion to Sh380 billion terming the National Assembly \u201crogue\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNational Assembly should realize that counties are there by design and not default,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Kahiga also lashed out at the National Assembly for assigned the Road Maitenance Levy to the national government.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRecently we saw them remove Road Maitenance Levy from us.
