Popular content creator and travel vlogger Natalie Tewa recently revealed the reasons behind her breakup with fianc\u00e9 Francis Mugane.<\/p>\n
In a candid Q&A session on her YouTube channel, Natalie shared that the relationship ended because she wasn\u2019t happy.<\/p>\n
When asked about her engagement, Natalie responded:<\/p>\n
“that didn\u2019t work out, and I\u2019m not one to do things for society if I\u2019m not happy.”<\/p>\n
Speculation about their split began in December 2023, when Natalie unfollowed Francis on social media and deleted their engagement photos.<\/p>\n
The couple had gotten engaged in a romantic proposal in February 2023, just months after Natalie expressed her desire for a long-term relationship, stating,<\/p>\n
“I am somewhere there and looking to get married.”<\/p>\n
Natalie had previously ended a relationship with Moses Mukiibi, also known as Rnaze, four years ago. Natalie would then begin dating photographer Sam Muchai, but the couple broke up months later.<\/p>\n
Natalie however says she is still open to dating again maintaining that she prefers being in a relationship with older men.<\/p>\n
“For me, a 10-year age difference is nothing. I have always believed that men take a bit of time to mature. So, if we are on the same level, then who is going to take charge and lead the family properly?” she explained.<\/p>\n
During the same interview, Natalie also touched on her challenging upbringing, including her parents’ divorce.<\/p>\n
“My parents divorced when I was young. We used to live in Uganda where my mum had a really good job. Something happened to us and our house caught fire and burned down, and there was drama with my dad,” she said.<\/p>\n
Following the fire, Natalie and her mother moved to Nairobi, where they faced financial struggles.<\/p>\n
“My mother tells me she used to sell second-hand clothes for us to survive. She eventually got a house in the Nairobi Dam estate in Lang’ata. I grew up there and I used to ride bikes with boys in the estate,” Natalie recalled.<\/p>\n
