NAIROBI, Kenya Feb 22 – The much-anticipated 2024 Magical Kenya Open has kicked off today at the Muthaiga Golf Club, welcoming a formidable field of 144 top local and international golfers vying for the coveted championship title.
In addition to the thrilling golf action, attendees can look forward to an array of entertainment offerings unveiled for the occasion. Sponsored by KBL’s Johnnie Walker brand, the entertainment village will come alive from today until Sunday, featuring top DJs and artists gracing the stage across all four days.
Setting the rhythm for the four-day festivities, DJ Legs & DJ Kronixx will kickstart the event with their dynamic mixes on Thursday.
Friday’s lineup will be curated by DJ T Fresh, DJ Pierra Makena, and DJ Jo Kisila, ensuring a vibrant atmosphere that will keep the crowd grooving late into the night.
Saturday promises an escalation of energy with sets by DJ Tophaz and Capital FM’s mixmaster DJ UV. Accompanying them, the stage will feature performances by the soulful Bensoul and the legendary Nameless, guaranteeing electrifying entertainment throughout the evening.
As Sunday marks the culmination of the tournament, DJ Most Wanted and DJ Adrian will take charge of the decks, followed by the dynamic duo Vijana Barubaru of the Sasa Hivi fame and the award-winning Afro-Pop singer, Ndegz, ensuring an unforgettable night for all revelers.
