Homeless people and those on the breadline in Nairobi shared their concerns about the worsening housing crisis and police tactics to deal with rough on the streets.
Jane Wangari, a homeless person, claimed that local police ‘don’t give us a chance’, adding: “when they find us sleeping they burn our sleeping materials, beat us and chase us away.”
